Hi G. Librarian!
What is it that you don't like about it? Is it entering programs, the technical part, the administrative part, etc.? I'd like to know if we could do something to make it worth using.
Hi G Librarian, I know the DC worked really hard to find a product that would show patrons the programs that we offer. I would be interested to hear why this is not working for you.
I'm most excited about how much easier this will be for patrons to easily see what's going on at the libraries - for various age groups, by location or event type.
And the fact that the information is only typed once - not retyped by the graphic artist and again by the person updating the Web - makes my hand also go way up.
For Ian and Library Chicken-- the question was not "Will this be a great thing for patrons?" The question was-- is Evanced saving YOU, as a librarian, time and effort, right this very minute? The answer for me is still no.
Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! I do not like this online calendar. I can't figure out how to do basic stuff. I'm pretty good with computers, but this software drives me crazy. I thought I made my YA SRP programs "staff reg only," but I don't think it worked. And even when it did work, it looks like there's no registration necessary. I guess I have to add some comments. I am very frustrated.
